Maria Hamilton: Painting is something that gives me joy and a sense of achievement. My works are the record of a moment of learning, a moment enjoyed. Each experience of painting carries its own feeling and associated memories. I believe art to be a very powerful form of self-expression. Like music, literature, and scientific research, art offers boundless opportunities for creativity. I am in my learning stage and it is a lovely stage to be at! My blogs are for sharing and presenting some of my work. I like to paint on everything: canvas, wood, walls, shoes, clothing, furniture … if there is a surface, I will probably work on it.
